SIR Guidelines 3.0

The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) Guidelines app provides a convenient tool for accessing SIR’s published guidelines and statements. It is designed to support healthcare professionals in making evidence-based decisions at the point of care. The app offers a user-friendly interface for quick navigation through recommendations.

An interactive periprocedural recommendation calculator is included, allowing users to input medications and patient factors to receive tailored anticoagulation and antibiotic recommendations based on the SIR consensus guidelines. Particularly noteworthy are the Clinical Practice Guidelines for IVC Filters, offering evidence-based guidance for managing patients with thromboembolic disease.

Regular updates are promised to include new Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) and additional decision-making tools, enhancing the utility of the app for healthcare providers.
